It suits offices that need to digitise mixed batches of paper, plastic ID cards and photographs up to 8.50 by 118.00 inches. The CIS image sensor and LED instant-on light source keep the unit ready without warm-up time. A compact footprint of 5.00 by 15.80 by 13.00 inches with trays collapsed fits on a standard desk.

Hi-Speed USB 2.0 interface limits

The scanner connects through a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 port that is also USB 3.0 compatible, so throughput is capped at the USB 2.0 signalling rate. This interface is fast enough for the rated 25 pages per minute or 50 images per minute at 200 or 300 dpi, but it will not sustain higher sustained transfer speeds that a native USB 3.0 device could use.
