A 2 A, 250 V AC glass time-delay fuse with a 35 A interrupt rating, supplied in a pack of five
The Eaton Bussmann GDC-2A is a cylindrical glass fuse rated at 2 A and 250 V AC with a 35 A interrupt rating. It suits low-current mains or control circuits where a time-delay characteristic prevents nuisance tripping during brief inrush currents. Each pack contains five fuses for replacement or spares.
The fuse will safely clear faults up to 35 A at 250 V AC; above that level it cannot guarantee interruption and the circuit must rely on upstream protection. It is a non-rejection type without a physical keying feature, so it fits standard 5 mm × 20 mm holders but offers no mechanical prevention against installing a higher-rated fuse. The glass body allows visual inspection of the element after a fault.
The 2 A time-delay rating is the single figure that decides suitability: the fuse must carry the normal load current continuously yet withstand temporary surges such as transformer magnetising current or motor start-up. Circuits drawing more than 2 A continuously or requiring a fast-acting response for sensitive semiconductor protection will need a different fuse type.

The GDC-2A is supplied as a five-piece pack; order the quantity of packs that matches the number of spares you need.
It means the fuse can safely break a fault current of up to 35 A at 250 V AC without rupturing the glass tube.
The GDC series fits HTB-series fuse blocks designed for 20 mm × 5 mm cylindrical glass fuses.
