Eaton PDU Power Cords C13 to P-Lock C14

This pack contains six heavy-duty power cords designed for connecting equipment to a power distribution unit. Each cord features a C13 connector on one end and a locking P-Lock C14 connector on the other. The blue jacket provides easy visual identification in dense rack environments. They are supplied new and ready for immediate deployment.

15A 250V rating with 14 AWG conductors

These cords are rated for 15 amps at 250 volts using 14 AWG conductors, making them suitable for high-current IT equipment. The P-Lock C14 end secures the connection against accidental disconnection caused by vibration or cable management movement. Buyers who need a non-locking standard C14 inlet or a higher amperage rating should verify their hardware specifications before purchasing.

Questions about this item

What does the 15 A rating mean when the cord is installed in a live rack?

The cord carries up to 15 A continuously, so each connected device must draw 15 A or less at 250 V without exceeding the 14 AWG conductor limit.

How does the P‑Lock C14 connector affect the 250 V connection in practice?

The P‑Lock mechanism locks the C14 inlet securely, preventing accidental disconnection while maintaining the full 250 V, 15 A rating of the cord.
