Compact 5.5 mm probe for Android

The ECbidbuy NK10 is a 5.5 mm diameter USB borescope with a 1.5 m semi-rigid cable and six adjustable LEDs. It connects to Android devices and streams 640 x 480 video at 30 frames per second. The IP67-rated head survives immersion and suits close-range inspection in tight cavities.

Replaces rigid fibrescopes

This tool upgrades from flashlight-and-mirror checks or stiff fibrescopes that cannot navigate bends. The jump is worth it when access holes are smaller than 6 mm and the target sits 3 to 10 cm away. It does not suit buyers who need longer reach or higher resolution for documentation.

USB OTG interface limits host compatibility

The Android-only USB connection means the camera cannot be used directly with iOS, Windows or Linux machines without extra adapters. The fixed 1.5 m cable length cannot be extended, and the 640 x 480 sensor caps detail at distances beyond 10 cm. No onboard storage or wireless link is provided.

Questions about this item

Will the 5.5mm probe diameter fit through the opening I need to inspect?

The camera head measures 5.5mm across, so it passes through any hole or gap wider than that dimension.

What is the correct way to connect this borescope to an Android phone, and what step do users often miss?

Plug the USB connector into the phone's port, grant camera permission when prompted, then open a compatible viewing app; skipping the permission grant is the step most often missed.

How should I care for the 6 adjustable LEDs and IP67-rated cable to keep them working?

Wipe the probe and lens with a dry cloth after each use, avoid bending the cable sharply near the head, and store it coiled loosely to protect the waterproof seal and LED brightness.
