What this cord does

This six-inch extension adds a short reach between a wall outlet and a device plug. It is built for indoor and outdoor use with a heavy-duty, waterproof design. The cord carries a 13-amp, 125-volt rating and holds both UL and ETL listings. It suits anyone needing a compact outlet saver for tight spaces.

Capacity and headroom

The 16 AWG copper conductors handle up to 13 amps continuously at 125 volts AC. The SJTW jacket is rated for a maximum of 300 volts, giving insulation headroom well above the working voltage. It will power typical household appliances, holiday lights, or a UPS unit without strain. The cord is not intended for loads exceeding 13 amps or voltages above 125 volts AC.

What it replaces and when to upgrade

This cord replaces a missing or damaged short jumper between a plug and a receptacle. It upgrades from makeshift wiring or indoor-only cables when a waterproof, temperature-resistant link is required. The jump is worth it when you need a certified, flexible connection that survives outdoor exposure and repeated bending. It does not serve buyers who need a longer run or multiple outlets from a single socket.
