Audiophile bookshelf speakers for desktop

The Edifier S1000MKII is a pair of powered 2.0 bookshelf speakers finished in brown. Each cabinet houses a 5.5 inch mid-bass driver and a 1 inch titanium dome tweeter driven by a built-in Class D amplifier with DSP. The system delivers 120W total RMS output across two channels for music, films and gaming at a desk or in a small room.

Wooden cabinets with multiple wired and wireless

The enclosures use quality wood construction with an inclined front panel that directs sound toward the listener. Connections include two analogue line inputs, optical, coaxial and Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD decoding. A supplied wireless remote switches sources and controls playback without leaving the seat.

120W RMS total power decides if the volume

The amplifier provides 35W per mid-bass driver and 25W per tweeter. Frequency response spans 45Hz to 40kHz with Hi-Res Audio support up to 24-bit/192kHz over digital inputs and 24-bit/48kHz via Bluetooth. Buyers needing higher output for large rooms or separate subwoofer outputs should consider other systems.
