Triangle Borea BR03 100W Bookshelf Pair

The Triangle Borea BR03 is a pair of 2-way bookshelf speakers finished in light oak. They feature a 25mm EFS silk dome tweeter and a 16cm midrange/bass driver with an untreated cellulose paper membrane. Designed for placement on dedicated stands, they deliver a frequency range of 46 Hz to 22 kHz.

Suited for dedicated stereo listening in rooms

These speakers suit listeners who want the performance of a larger floorstander in a compact bookshelf design. They are not for buyers who need built-in amplification or wireless connectivity. They also do not suit installations that cannot accommodate separate speaker stands.

Sustained output with 100W power handling and 90

The 100W power handling allows robust performance during extended listening sessions without compression. High 90 dB/W/m sensitivity ensures efficient power use, maintaining clarity and dynamic low frequencies at realistic volume levels over long periods. The EFS tweeter provides wide, consistent high-frequency dispersion.

Questions about this item

What amplifier power range matches the 100W handling of the Borea BR03?

Choose an amplifier rated between 25 and 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms so the 90 dB/W/m sensitivity reaches comfortable levels without overdriving the 16 cm midrange/bass driver.

Will the 46 Hz low-frequency extension work in a room smaller than 15 m²?

The speakers are tuned for 15 to 30 m² rooms; in smaller spaces the 46 Hz output may excite strong room modes, so placement away from corners and moderate volume keep the bass controlled.

How can I verify the 25 mm EFS silk dome tweeter is dispersing highs evenly after setup?

Sit at the listening position and play a familiar track; the treble should sound consistent when you move your head slightly left or right, confirming the wide-dispersion design is working.
