Hecate G5 MAX 7.1.4 headset

The Edifier Hecate G5 MAX is a quad-mode gaming headset built around THX 7.1.4 spatial audio and a 53 mm composite diaphragm driver. It targets competitive players who want a wide 360° soundfield with Hi-Res audio certification across wired and wireless links.

Quad-mode setup and microphone

Connect via Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz ISM using the supplied USB-A or USB-C dongle, or a direct USB-C wired cable. The detachable dual microphone uses AI noise cancellation, while automatic balance adjusts game and chat volume without manual fiddling.

305-hour battery and comfort limits

Bluetooth mode with lighting off delivers up to 305 hours of playback, giving generous headroom for long sessions. The ultra-lightweight frame and Dragonfly Wing headband suit all-day wear, but the single 53 mm driver cannot match multi-driver rigs for pure channel separation.
