Tri-Mode Connectivity Headset

The ASUS ROG Pelta is a wireless gaming headset built for players who move between PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and mobile devices. It connects through Bluetooth, a 2.4 GHz USB-C dongle or a wired USB-C cable. The 309 gram frame uses an adjustable elastic headband and breathable mesh ear cushions to reduce pressure during long sessions.

Sustained Wireless Performance

The internal 900 mAh battery delivers up to 70 hours of use in 2.4 GHz mode, while a 15-minute fast charge restores roughly 3 hours of play. The 50 mm titanium-plated diaphragm drivers maintain a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response with 32 ohm impedance, keeping sound consistent without the compression that can appear in shorter bursts.

Upgrade From Basic Stereo Headsets

This headset replaces entry-level stereo models that lack a detachable 10 mm super-wideband boom microphone and multi-platform switching. The jump is worth it when you need clear voice capture across a wider frequency range and the flexibility to move between wired and wireless modes without re-pairing.

Questions about this item

How hot or noisy does the 309 g ROG Pelta get during a full 70 hour session?

The headset weighs 309 g and has no active cooling, so it produces no fan noise and generates no noticeable heat during extended use.

What must I already own to use the 2.4 GHz wireless mode with my PlayStation 5?

A free USB-A port on the console for the included 2.4 GHz USB-C dongle; the headset pairs automatically once the dongle is inserted.

Will the 50 mm titanium-plated drivers and 10 mm super-wideband microphone work properly with my older PlayStation 4?

Yes, the headset is listed as compatible with PlayStation 4, delivering the full 20 Hz–20 kHz frequency response and wide-band mic capture on that platform.
