White 2.0 Bookshelf System

The Edifier R1700BT is a powered stereo pair finished in white. Each cabinet houses a 4-inch bass driver and a 19mm dome tweeter angled 10 degrees toward the listener. Built-in amplification delivers 15 watts RMS per channel plus 18 watts for the low-frequency section, totalling 66 watts RMS. Bluetooth and dual analogue inputs let you connect phones, computers, consoles or a TV without extra hardware.

Buyers Who Want Wireless Simplicity

Side-mounted dials adjust volume, bass and treble, and the supplied remote changes input, mutes or puts the system into standby from the sofa. The MDF cabinets use a wood-effect vinyl that suits living rooms or desktop setups alike. Shoppers needing a separate subwoofer output, digital optical or USB audio, or a larger driver for deeper extension should consider other models.

66 Watts RMS Total Power Output

The combined rating of 15 watts per satellite and 18 watts for the bass section defines the system's maximum clean output. This figure determines whether the pair can fill your intended listening space at the volume levels you prefer.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 19mm tweeter and 4-inch bass driver are producing sound correctly after connecting via Bluetooth?

Play audio and verify clear highs from the dome tweeter and rich lows from the bass driver; the front bass reflex port should emphasise low frequencies without distortion thanks to built-in DSP and DRC.

What items are included in the package and which cables must be purchased separately for a wired connection?

The box contains the speakers and a wireless remote; AUX or PC input cables for wired sources are not included and must be bought separately.

Which version should I choose if I want the 66W RMS total output with Bluetooth and a remote in a white finish?

The Edifier R1700BT White model delivers 66W RMS (15W × 2 + 18W), Bluetooth pairing, side-panel controls and a wireless remote in a walnut-effect vinyl enclosure.
