Tri-band Wi-Fi 7 mesh system for high-bandwidth

The eero Pro 7 two-pack delivers tri-band Wi-Fi 7 coverage across 4,000 sq. ft. and supports 400 or more connected devices. Each unit uses a 2x2x2 antenna array on 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands to provide wireless speeds up to 3.9 Gbps. It suits households and small businesses running many bandwidth-hungry devices simultaneously.

Wired backhaul limited to 5 GbE ports

Two auto-sensing 5 GbE ports per unit enable wired speeds up to 4.7 Gbps and support internet plans up to 5 Gbps. The Wi-Fi 7 radio uses channel widths up to 320 MHz and Multi-Link Operation to reduce latency for compatible clients. Wireless throughput cannot exceed the 3.9 Gbps ceiling even when the wired link is faster.

27 W USB-C power requirement per node

Each router ships with a 27 W USB-C adapter that operates on 100-240 V AC at 50/60 Hz. Buyers without convenient USB-C outlets or who need PoE-powered nodes must plan for alternate power arrangements. The package includes two adapters and one CAT6a Ethernet cable for the initial link.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 2-Pack or add more nodes for a larger home?

Each node covers up to 2,000 sq. ft., so the 2-Pack covers up to 4,000 sq. ft. total; add another Pro 7 if you need more range.

What does the 3.9 Gbps wireless speed mean for my actual devices?

That is the combined peak rate across the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz radios; a single Wi-Fi 7 device with MLO will see a fraction of that, while many devices share the total bandwidth.

How fast can the 5 GbE ports really move data on my LAN?

The two auto-sensing 5 GbE ports support wired throughput up to 4.7 Gbps, so multi-gig internet plans and fast NAS transfers run at near line rate.
