Tri-band Wi-Fi 7 mesh system

The eero Pro 7 three-pack delivers tri-band Wi-Fi 7 across three identical routers, each covering up to 2,000 sq. ft. for a combined 6,000 sq. ft. The system supports 600-plus simultaneous devices and targets households or small businesses that need high-bandwidth connectivity throughout a large indoor area. Every unit can operate as a gateway or as an extender within an existing eero network.

Two 5 GbE ports and bundled cable

Each router includes two auto-sensing 5 GbE ports, enabling wired speeds up to 4.7 Gbps for internet plans up to 5 Gbps. The package supplies three 27 W USB-C power adapters and one CAT6a Ethernet cable, so only the primary gateway has a ready-made wired backhaul link; additional cables are required to wire the other two units. A Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0 radio and Zigbee/Matter controller radios are built in for smart-home integration.

320 MHz channels need client support

Wireless rates up to 3.9 Gbps rely on 320 MHz channel widths and Multi-Link Operation, both defined by the Wi-Fi 7 standard, so client devices must also support these features to achieve the stated throughput. The 6 GHz band operates across U-NII-5 through U-NII-8 spectrum, which is subject to regulatory limits on transmit power and may reduce range compared with the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. WPA3 and WPA2 encryption are supported, and firmware updates are delivered automatically.

Questions about this item

Will the 27W USB-C power adapters need to be replaced over time?

The system includes three 27W USB-C power adapters rated for 100-240V AC at 50/60 Hz; they are solid-state units with no moving parts and no user-serviceable components, so routine replacement is not expected.

What limits sustained throughput on the two 5GbE ports?

The two auto-sensing 5GbE ports support wired speeds up to 4.7 Gbps, so the port hardware itself is the ceiling for sustained wired traffic.

How much heat and noise does a three-pack produce running all day?

Each unit measures 5.77 x 7.10 x 3.10 inches with no internal fan listed, so heat is dissipated passively and operation is silent under continuous load.
