Powered bookshelf speakers for wired

The Electrohome Berkeley 2.0 is a stereo pair of powered bookshelf speakers with a built-in 30-Watt Class D amplifier. They accept turntables, TVs, computers or game consoles through RCA and Aux inputs, and stream from mobile devices via Bluetooth 5. A front control knob switches inputs and an LED shows the active source.

Fits on a shelf or desk with no separate amp

Each cabinet houses a 3-inch woofer and a 1-inch silk dome tweeter in a rear-ported wood enclosure that enhances bass response. AC power feeds the internal amplifier, so no external receiver is needed. RCA, Aux and Bluetooth 5 connections cover most common sources without extra adapters.

Suits listeners who want a compact all-in-one

Buyers who need more output power, larger drivers or a dedicated subwoofer output should look at larger systems. The fixed 30-Watt amplification and 3-inch woofers limit deep-bass extension and maximum volume for big rooms.

Questions about this item

What limits the maximum volume before distortion on the 30 W amplifier?

How much heat does the built-in amplifier produce during all-day use?

The Class D amplifier runs efficiently with low distortion, keeping the handcrafted wood cabinets cool during extended listening sessions.

Which source devices can I connect directly without extra adapters?

The speakers provide RCA and Aux inputs plus Bluetooth 5 for turntables, TVs, computers and mobile devices.
