Classic CD boombox with Bluetooth

The Emerson EPB-3004 plays CDs, CD-R and CD-RW discs plus AM/FM radio through its front-loading mechanism. Bluetooth streaming adds wireless playback from phones or tablets. A 3.5 mm headphone jack and auxiliary input cover wired sources. Twenty programmable track slots and an LED display keep navigation simple.

Portable power with built-in battery

A 7.4 V 2000 mAh rechargeable cell removes the need for a mains lead during use. The unit measures 18 x 8 x 11 in and weighs 7 lb, so it can move between rooms or outdoor spaces without a power socket nearby. Two 5 W full-range drivers deliver 10 W RMS total output for personal or small-group listening.

Steady output for long sessions

The internal battery sustains the 10 W RMS amplifier through extended playback without the voltage sag seen in disposable-cell designs. Telescopic antenna positioning maintains consistent FM reception while the player runs. Wired auxiliary and headphone connections bypass wireless compression entirely when signal purity matters more than convenience.

Questions about this item

How long does the 7.4V 2000mAh battery run the 10W RMS speakers at typical volume?

The built-in rechargeable battery powers the unit for portable use; actual runtime varies with volume level and whether CD or radio is playing.

How loud does the fan get when the boombox runs on AC power all day?

No cooling fan is mentioned; the 2 x 5W drivers are passively cooled, so operation stays silent apart from the audio itself.

What cables or accessories must I already own to play audio through the Aux-in jack?

A standard 3.5 mm stereo audio cable is needed to connect a phone, tablet or other source to the Aux-in jack.
