Connects Mini HDMI devices to VGA displays with 3.5mm audio output, supporting 1080p and 1920 x 1200 at 60Hz
The EN-Labs ADMINIHD2VGAABK is an active adapter that links devices with a Mini HDMI output to VGA monitors or projectors. It is built for users who need to connect ultrabooks, tablets, cameras or graphics cards to legacy displays.
A 19-pin Mini HDMI male plug connects directly to the source device while a 15-pin VGA female port and a 3.5 mm audio jack provide video and sound to the display. The attached audio cable simplifies wiring in office, home or conference-room setups.
Supported PC resolutions reach 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz and HDTV modes reach 1080p at 60 Hz, limited by the 1.65 Gbps bandwidth of the converter. The adapter cannot pass higher refresh rates, 4K signals or HDCP-protected content to the VGA display.

The converter provides up to 1.65 Gbps bandwidth and caps at 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz for PC or 1080p at 60 Hz for HDTV.
The source needs a 19-pin Mini HDMI port; the monitor needs a 15-pin VGA port and a 3.5 mm audio jack if sound is required.
Plug the Mini HDMI end into the device, connect a VGA cable to the adapter and monitor, then attach the supplied 3.5 mm audio cable from the adapter to speakers — the audio cable is often forgotten.
