8-inch EPS 8-pin CPU power extension

This 8-inch extension cable adds length to an existing EPS 8-pin power connection between a power supply and a motherboard CPU socket. It uses 18AWG tinned copper conductors rated for 12V DC operation. The cable carries a male EPS 8-pin connector on one end and a female EPS 8-pin connector on the other.

Replaces short factory cables in large cases

Builders fitting a power supply with a short EPS lead into a spacious chassis or routing cables behind a motherboard tray will find the extra 8 inches useful. The jump is worth it when the stock cable cannot reach the CPU power header without tension or sharp bends. It is not for systems where the original cable already reaches comfortably or where a longer run would exceed voltage-drop limits.

Limited by 18AWG gauge and 12V rating
