Adds four front-panel USB 3.0 ports at 5 Gbps through two 19-pin headers using a single PCIe x1 slot
This expansion card adds two internal USB 3.0 19-pin headers through a single PCIe x1 slot. It is designed for desktop builders who need extra front-panel USB-A ports for peripherals such as keyboards, mice, flash drives, and smartphones. The card fits x1, x2, x4, x8, or x16 slots and includes both high-profile and low-profile brackets.
Each of the four resulting USB-A ports delivers up to 5 Gbps data throughput and 5 V 1 A power under continuous load. The VL805 host controller maintains this rate during large file moves without throttling back to burst-only speeds. Driver-free operation on Windows 8, 10, and 11 keeps latency consistent across long sessions.
The card upgrades motherboards that lack sufficient 19-pin or 20-pin USB 3.0 connectors for modern cases. It is not suitable for systems running Linux or Windows 7 and earlier without manual driver installation, and it cannot be used in legacy PCI slots.

The card supplies 5V1A to each of the four USB-A ports, so the total power budget is 5V4A across all ports while the VL805 controller manages 5Gbps transfers.
Both high-profile and low-profile brackets are included, and you need one free PCIe x1 slot (also fits x2, x4, x8 or x16 slots).
Windows 7 (32/64-bit) requires the extra driver supplied by the vendor; Windows 8, 10 and 11 are driver-free, so both systems can use the card once the Windows 7 driver is installed.
