6 Gbps headroom and backward compatibility

Rated for SATA revision III, the cable supports up to 6.0 Gbps transfer speed, limited only by the attached drive and controller. It remains fully compatible with SATA I and II ports, so older drives work without adapters. The 26 AWG tinned copper conductors and shielding preserve signal integrity across the full length. Builders needing longer runs or multiple drives per cable will need a different solution.

UL-listed build with secure latching

Each 7-pin receptacle uses an L-type key and a metal latch that clicks into place, holding firm in tight drive bays or vibration-prone enclosures. The conductors meet UL listing and RoHS compliance for safety and environmental standards. Straight 180-degree ends suit standard motherboard headers and drive backplanes. Right-angle routing or external eSATA bulkhead mounting is not supported by this cable.
