USB 2.0 dual 3.5mm audio adapter

The ENVEL EN0332 adds separate headphone and microphone jacks to any device with a USB 2.0 port. It works with Windows, macOS, Linux, Chrome OS, Raspberry Pi, PS4 and PS5. Plug-and-play operation requires no driver installation and draws power directly from the USB bus. The compact black adapter measures 22.6 cm in length.

48 kHz stereo with 120 dB dynamic range

The built-in chip decodes digital audio at 48 kHz and delivers a 120 dB signal-to-noise ratio for clear stereo playback. It comfortably handles gaming headsets, conference calls and music streaming. The adapter does not support TV, car audio, PS3, Xbox or 4-pole TRRS microphones, limiting use to 3-pole TRS connections only.

Replaces a failed onboard audio port

This adapter restores audio I/O when a laptop or desktop headphone jack stops working, avoiding a motherboard repair. The upgrade is worthwhile when the original port is physically damaged or the onboard codec produces audible noise. It cannot add surround sound, higher sample rates or digital optical output.

Questions about this item

Will this USB 2.0 adapter work on a laptop that only has USB 2.0 ports and no 3.5mm jack?

Yes, the ENVEL EN0332 connects via USB 2.0 male and provides separate green headphone and pink microphone 3.5mm female jacks, restoring stereo audio and mic input on legacy laptops.

How can I confirm the adapter is recognised and delivering 48 KHz stereo output after plugging it in?

On Windows, open Sound settings and select the C-Media USB Headset as the default playback device; on Mac, choose it in System Preferences > Sound > Output. The device is bus-powered and driver-free, so it appears immediately.

Does the package include any extra cables or do I need to buy a headset with 3-pole TRS plugs separately?

The box contains only the adapter itself. You must supply a headset or headphones with a 3-pole 3.5mm TRS connector for the microphone to work; 4-pole plugs are not supported on this Black Pro model.
