EP Memory OM4 duplex SC/LC multimode fiber patch cable 33 ft aqua

SKU CH-0ZGM-V57AX

Aqua duplex patch cable with SC and LC connectors for 50/125 µm multimode links up to 33 ft

  • Ready for 10Gb Ethernet links with OM4 multimode fiber
  • Duplex SC to LC male connectors on each end
  • Laser-optimized 50/125 micron core for high bandwidth
  • Low-smoke zero-halogen jacket safe for in-wall and plenum runs
  • 33 ft aqua cable for easy identification in patch panels

Laser-Optimised OM4 duplex patch cable

This 33 ft aqua patch cable uses laser-optimised multimode fibre with a 50/125 micron core and two fibres. It carries 10Gb Ethernet signals between patch panels, switches, media converters and routers in LAN or SAN environments. The low-smoke zero-halogen jacket meets fire-safety requirements for in-wall and plenum runs without conduit.

Check your existing fibre plant

Verify that your current links use 50/125 micron multimode fibre so the core diameter matches this OM4 cable. Confirm that the equipment ports accept SC male connectors on one side and LC male connectors on the other. Ensure the aqua jacket colour fits your colour-coding scheme for OM4 identification.

Suits installers needing SC-to-LC OM4 links

Ideal for technicians extending or repairing 10Gb multimode runs where SC and LC interfaces meet. Not for buyers who require single-mode fibre, different connector types, or a length other than 33 ft. Builders needing higher bandwidth than OM4 provides should look at alternative cable grades.

Questions about this item

What connectors and length does this OM4 patch cable come with, and is any extra hardware needed?

The cable is 33 ft long with duplex SC male on one end and duplex LC male on the other; no additional hardware is required for standard patch-panel or switch connections.

Should I choose OM4 over OM3 or OM2 for a 10 Gb Ethernet run of this length?

OM4 50/125 µm laser-optimised fibre supports 10 Gb Ethernet at 33 ft with headroom for higher speeds, while OM3 would also work but offers less margin.

What does the 10 Gb Ethernet rating mean when the cable is installed in a real rack?

The 10 Gb rating is guaranteed over the full 33 ft when used with compliant transceivers; the low-smoke zero-halogen jacket also allows in-wall and plenum routing without conduit.
