Ergodyne 23373 Navy Bump Cap Accessory

Navy Bump Cap with LED Lighting

The Ergodyne 23373 is a navy bump cap designed for workers who need protection against cranial bumps and bruises in low-light environments. Built-in LED lighting under the brim illuminates tasks without requiring a separate flashlight or bulky headlamp. The short brim style keeps the profile compact for confined spaces. It suits maintenance, inspection and assembly roles where hands-free light is essential.

Removable Shell and Ventilated Fit

An impact-resistant shell made from EVA polyethylene lines the cap and can be removed for cleaning or replacement. A patented flanged design promotes airflow across the head while the foam lining adds cushioning for extended wear. Hook and loop closure at the rear allows quick one-handed adjustment so the fit stays secure during movement. Reflective accents on the exterior improve visibility to coworkers in dim conditions.

LED Illumination Under the Brim

The defining specification is the integrated LED array positioned beneath the brim, which directs light onto the work surface without a headband or handheld torch. Buyers who need a certified hard hat for falling-object protection should choose a different product, as this cap only guards against user-generated impacts. The 8960 model number identifies this specific lighting configuration for reordering.
