Project file storage

Pendaflex File Jackets hold odd-size papers, discs and stray photographs in a closed three-sided pocket. Each jacket expands 1 1/2 inches to accommodate up to 300 sheets. A thumb-cut front panel gives quick access to contents during meetings or travel. The box contains 50 letter-size folders.

Durable manila construction

11 pt. manila stock resists daily handling in active filing systems. Reinforced straight-cut tabs add strength at the binding edge. Full-height side panels keep documents from slipping out when the drawer is opened or closed. No power, cooling or noise considerations apply to this passive office supply.

Fits standard letter drawers

Jackets drop into existing letter-size filing cabinets without hardware changes. Closed sides eliminate loose sheets at the bottom of the drawer. The expansion capacity frees space by consolidating bulky project materials into one folder. Buyers who need legal-size pockets or smaller expansion increments will need a different product.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Pendaflex file jacket in a letter-size drawer, and what step do people often miss?

Insert the reinforced straight-cut tab into the hanging rail; the step people miss is ensuring the thumb-cut front faces forward so the 1-1/2 inch expansion sides can open fully.

What maintenance or replacement will the 11 pt. manila jacket need later?

Replace the box of 50 jackets when the manila edges fray or the expansion gussets lose rigidity after heavy 300-sheet loads.

What limit appears first when the jacket holds 300 sheets daily?

The 1-1/2 inch expansion gusset reaches its maximum capacity, preventing further insertion without tearing the closed sides.
