Bi-Directional DP Switch

The ESTONE A0201 is a DisplayPort 2.0 switch that routes a single source between two displays or lets two sources share one display. It targets gamers and professionals who need to toggle between multiple DP devices without unplugging cables. Only one display can be active at a time. The unit ships with a USB power cable for stable operation.

40Gbps Bandwidth Limit

The switch passes up to 40Gbps and is backward compatible with earlier DisplayPort standards. A standard DP2.0 cable no longer than 6.6 feet must be used and the USB power cable connected, otherwise the signal may flicker or drop out. Two displays cannot show content simultaneously in either direction.

Resolution Headroom

Supported modes include 16K at 60Hz, 8K at 60Hz, 4K at 240Hz, 4K at 144Hz and 1080p at 240Hz with audio. This covers high-refresh esports panels and emerging ultra-high-resolution monitors. The bandwidth ceiling means resolutions beyond the listed modes or longer cable runs will not work reliably.
