16K DisplayPort 2.0 bidirectional switch

The ESTONE A0201 is a compact DisplayPort 2.0 switch that routes video and audio between two sources and one display, or one source and two displays. It serves desktop users who need to share a single high-resolution monitor between two computers, or toggle a laptop between two screens without unplugging cables.

40 Gbps bandwidth with 16K60 and 4K240 headroom

The switch passes up to 40 Gbps, supporting 16K at 60 Hz, 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 240 Hz and 1080p at 240 Hz. It handles high-refresh gaming and professional colour workflows at those rates, but cannot drive both connected displays simultaneously, so only one output is active at any moment.

External power for stable operation

An included USB power cable supplies the unit, eliminating the signal dropouts common on unpowered splitters when running 2-in-1-out configurations. The aluminium enclosure stays cool during extended use, and the mechanical select button switches cleanly without audible noise or flicker.

Questions about this item

Will the 40 Gbps bandwidth work with my existing DisplayPort 1.4 monitor and GPU?

Yes, the switch is backward compatible with all previous DisplayPort standards, so your DP 1.4 hardware will connect and run at its native speeds.

How can I confirm the switch is passing a 4K 240 Hz signal correctly after I set it up?

Press the select button and check the indicator lights; they show the active port. Then verify in your GPU control panel that the display reports 4K at 240 Hz.

Does the box include the DisplayPort cables I need for 16K 60 Hz, or only the power cable?

The package contains the bi-directional switch, one USB power charging cable and a user manual. DisplayPort cables are not included and must be purchased separately.
