Triple-shielded solid-copper construction

The cable uses a solid copper conductor wrapped in triple shielding to maintain the full 32.4 gigabits per second bandwidth over its two metre length. Because it draws signal directly from the host's USB-C port, no external power adapter is required, freeing a mains socket and reducing desk clutter. The male-to-male design also removes the need for a separate dongle or gender changer.

VESA certification confirms compliance with the DisplayPort 1.4 standard including HBR3 speeds. Display Stream Compression version 1.2 enables up to three to one compression ratios, delivering visually lossless 8K at sixty hertz with ten bit colour HDR or 4K at one hundred and forty four hertz.
