The ESTONE Cat 6 extension cable adds six feet to an existing Ethernet link. It terminates in an RJ45 male plug on one end and an RJ45 female jack on the other. The assembly is intended for indoor use with switches, routers, NAS units, VoIP phones, PoE devices and game consoles.

550 MHz bandwidth and Cat 6 headroom

Rated to 550 MHz, the cable supports gigabit and multi-gigabit traffic for streaming, surveillance and cloud workloads. It is backward compatible with Cat 5 and Cat 5e infrastructure. The stranded 26 AWG conductors limit the practical run length compared with solid-core installations.

Shielded FTP construction with gold contacts
