HDMI 2.1 Bi-Directional Switch/Splitter

The ESTONE F0301 is a compact HDMI 2.1 switch and splitter that handles 48 Gbps bandwidth. It connects either two sources to one display or one source to two displays, switching manually with a front button. Gamers and home-theatre users who need to swap a console and a PC on a single 4K 120 Hz screen will find it fits the task.

48 Gbps HDMI 2.1 practical limits

The unit passes 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz through its HDMI 2.1 interface, but only one output is active at a time in splitter mode. HDR and HDCP 2.3 content require every cable in the chain to meet the 48 Gbps ultra-high-speed rating; shorter certified cables give the most reliable handshake at the highest refresh rates.

Replaces basic 4K 60 Hz switches

Older 18 Gbps switches cannot carry 4K 120 Hz or 8K 60 Hz signals from current consoles, so they force a drop to 60 Hz. This device removes that bottleneck for PS5 and Xbox Series X owners who want full refresh-rate gaming. It is not for users who need simultaneous dual-monitor output or automatic switching.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the switch or splitter mode for my setup?

Choose switch mode when you have two source devices like a PS5 and Xbox and one display. Choose splitter mode when you have one source and want to alternate between two displays.

What does 4K at 120 Hz mean once the unit is connected?

It delivers 4096 x 2160 resolution at 120 frames per second, giving smooth motion for gaming on PS5 or Xbox.

How does the HDMI 2.1 interface limit what I can run?

The 48 Gbps bandwidth caps output at 8K 60 Hz or 4K 120 Hz, so higher refresh rates at 8K are not supported.
