ESTONE F0301 HDMI 2.1 Bi-Directional Switch

The ESTONE F0301 is a compact HDMI 2.1 switch and splitter designed for users who need to toggle between two source devices on one display or switch a single source between two screens. It supports 8K resolution at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz with 48 Gbps bandwidth. The unit includes a USB-A to Micro-B cable for power and a manual select button for instant switching.

Build quality and daily connectivity

The black enclosure houses one HDMI input and two HDMI outputs using standard female ports, linked by a short 5-inch integrated cable. A front-panel button cycles the active path without software or remote control. The USB power cable draws from any nearby port, so no separate adapter is required. The mechanical selector gives tactile feedback and holds position until pressed again.

Upgrade path and when to switch

This device replaces basic HDMI 2.0 switches that max out at 4K 60 Hz, adding the headroom needed for 4K 120 Hz gaming on PS5 or Xbox Series X and 8K 60 Hz video playback. It is not suited for users who need simultaneous output to two displays or automatic switching based on signal detection. Buyers requiring more than two ports or hands-free operation should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What does the HDMI 2.1 interface cap at in practice?

It supports up to 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz with a 48 Gbps bandwidth limit.

What does the unit physically need to fit or mount?

It has one HDMI female input, two HDMI female outputs, a Micro-B USB port for power, and a 5 in attached cable.

How is it installed, and what step do people get wrong?

Connect sources and displays, plug the USB cable for power, then press the Select button to switch; the common mistake is expecting both outputs to show content at the same time in splitter mode.
