HDMI to Dual SDI Converter

The ESTONE converter takes a single HDMI Type A input and splits it to two SDI outputs for camera, CCTV or broadcast workflows. It handles HDMI 1.3 signals at 480i, 576i, 720p and 1080i/p across 24, 25, 30, 50 and 60 Hz. The unit is not bi-directional and cannot convert SDI back to HDMI. A power adapter is included in the box.

Thermals and Power

The compact converter runs from the supplied external power adapter with no fan or active cooling. Passive operation keeps noise at zero during continuous use. Typical draw is low enough for standard wall power and does not require a dedicated circuit. Extended cable runs up to 100 metres at 3G-SDI and 200 metres at HD-SDI add no thermal load to the device itself.

Build and Connectivity

A metal enclosure shields the conversion circuitry from EMI in studio or field environments.
