ESTONE HW-HD4K 1×8 HDMI Splitter

The ESTONE HW-HD4K is a powered HDMI splitter that takes one source signal and distributes it to eight displays simultaneously. It supports video resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz and passes through audio formats including LPCM, Dolby-AC3, DTS7.1 and DSD. The unit is HDCP compliant and designed for installations where identical content must reach multiple screens.

Installers needing one-to-eight distribution

This splitter suits AV integrators, educators and home-theatre owners who need to mirror a single source across up to eight HDTVs, projectors or monitors. It is not for users who require independent content on each display, switching between multiple sources, or HDMI 2.0 bandwidth for 4K at 60 Hz. Buyers needing longer cable runs without signal loss should verify the amplification meets their specific distance requirements.

Bundled AC power adapter

The included AC adapter powers the internal amplification and buffering circuitry, enabling the splitter to maintain signal integrity over longer HDMI cable runs than a passive device would allow. No software, remote control or additional cables are supplied; the package provides only the splitter unit and its dedicated power supply.

Questions about this item

What source device and cables do I need to feed the HW-HD4K's single HDMI input?

Connect any HDMI source such as a PC, Blu-ray player, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, Chromecast or Fire TV using a standard HDMI cable into the one HDMI female input.

Will my older 1080p or 720p displays work with the splitter's eight HDMI outputs?

Yes, the splitter outputs 480i, 576i, 480p, 576p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p alongside 1440p and 4K, so legacy 1080p and 720p screens display correctly.

How can I verify the HW-HD4K is passing both 4K video and multichannel audio after installation?

Check that all eight connected displays show the same 3840×2160 image and that your AV receiver or soundbar reports LPCM 7.1, Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD Master Audio from the source.
