One-to-two HDMI distribution

The ESTONE OZF6A takes a single HDMI source and sends identical video and audio to two displays at the same time. It is suited for installers or home users who need the same picture on two screens without running a second source device.

4K60 bandwidth and audio extraction

The splitter handles 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz with 18 Gbps throughput and deep-colour support up to 36 bit. Audio can be pulled out through SPDIF, coaxial or 3.5 mm analogue outputs in TV, 2.0 CH or 5.1 CH modes. At 1080p the signal reaches 50 ft on standard cable; at 4K the reliable distance drops to 26 ft.

HDMI 2.0b limits and power requirement

HDCP 2.2 and HDR10 pass through, but the 18 Gbps ceiling means 4K at higher frame rates or 8K content cannot be carried. The unit requires the included DC 5 V USB power adapter to operate and does not function as a switch for multiple sources.

Questions about this item

Will the ESTONE OZF6A pass 4K at 60 Hz to my older 1080p projector while also feeding a 4K TV?

Yes, the splitter duplicates the source to both HDMI outputs simultaneously; each display receives the same signal up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz, so a 1080p projector will simply show its native resolution.

How do I verify the audio extractor is sending sound to my soundbar via the optical port?

Use the TV / 2.0CH / 5.1CH mode switch to select 5.1CH, then play Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD content; the SPDIF port will output the bitstream and the soundbar should indicate the format.

Does the box include HDMI cables or only the splitter, manual and USB power adapter?

The package contains the 1x2 HDMI splitter audio extractor, a user manual and a USB power adapter; HDMI cables are not included and must be purchased separately.
