The switch operates plug-and-play with no driver installation required. Users change the active path by pressing the front-panel button or the included wired remote. A common issue is that both connected displays cannot operate simultaneously; the switch only routes one source to one display at a time. Using cables below USB 3.1 Gen 2 spec will limit both video resolution and data throughput.
