6.6 FT USB C Extension Cable, 2 Pack

This ESTONE PQ106 cable extends a USB Type C connection with a male to female layout. It supports 100W power delivery and 10Gbps data transfer for compatible laptops, tablets and phones. The 6.6 FT length suits desk or sofa setups where the stock cable falls short. Two cables are included in the pack.

USB 3.2 Gen 2 Limits: 10Gbps, 100W, 4K

The cable carries USB 3.2 Gen 2 signals up to 10Gbps, which is the ceiling for this standard. Power delivery tops out at 100W at 20V and 5A, so both the charger and the device must support that profile. Video output reaches 3840x2160 at 60Hz and 1920x1200, but the host and display must each implement video over USB C.

Check Port Type and Power Profile Before Buying

Verify that the host port is USB C and not USB A or USB Mini B, because this extender will not fit those connectors. Confirm the charger and device both advertise 100W PD to reach the maximum charging speed. Ensure the source and sink devices support DisplayPort Alt Mode or equivalent for 4K video pass through.

Questions about this item

Which length and pack size should I pick for this ESTONE PQ106 cable?

The product is offered as a 6.6FT 2PACK, giving you two six-point-six-foot male-to-female USB-C extension cables in one purchase.

What does the 10Gbps rating mean when I plug this cable into my laptop?

It supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 data transfer up to 10Gbps, so large files such as 5G videos can move in roughly five seconds, provided both host and device also run at that speed.

How does the USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface limit charging and video in practice?

The same USB-C connection carries up to 100W Power Delivery and 4K 3840x2160 video at 60Hz, but only if your charger, laptop and monitor all support those standards.
