SDI to HDMI Conversion for Broadcast Workflows

The ESTONE SDI2HDMI accepts 3G-SDI, HD-SDI and SD-SDI signals through a single BNC input and converts them to HDMI for standard displays. It also provides an SDI loop-through output so the original feed can reach a second monitor. The unit handles 1080p at 60, 59.94 and 50 Hz as well as 1080i and 720p formats.

Auto-Detection and Stable Signal Handling

The converter auto-detects the incoming SDI standard and selects the correct output timing without manual switching. It supports cable runs up to 300 ft for 3G-SDI, 500 ft for HD-SDI and 1000 ft for SD-SDI, maintaining integrity over long distances. Embedded audio up to eight channels at 48 kHz is passed through to the HDMI output.

Replaces Dedicated Rack-Mount Converters

This compact adapter replaces larger rack-mount units when only a single-channel conversion is needed. It is not suitable for workflows that require 4K or UHD resolution, nor for bi-directional HDMI-to-SDI conversion.
