The unit includes a USB-A-to-Micro-B cable for mandatory external power and a manual button for instant switching.

Bandwidth and resolution limits

The switch supports a maximum resolution of 4096 × 2160 at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz, with a rated bandwidth of 48 Gbps. It is backward compatible with earlier HDMI standards, but 8K 60 Hz and 4K 120 Hz performance requires certified Ultra High Speed HDMI cables on both the input and output sides. Without the supplied USB power connection the switch will not pass a signal.

Replaces manual cable swapping

This device replaces the need to physically change HDMI cables when moving between two sources.
