It delivers up to 40 Gbps data transfer, 100 W Power Delivery 3.1 charging and 8K 60 Hz video output for laptops, docking stations and high-speed SSD enclosures. Black nylon braiding protects the bi-directional, reversible plugs.

Verify that your device has a USB4 or Thunderbolt 3/4 port with DisplayPort Alternate Mode for video. The cable supports a single 8K 60 Hz, 5K 60 Hz or 4K 144 Hz display, or dual 4K 60 Hz monitors. For 100 W charging both the charger and the laptop must support PD 3.1 EPR at 20 V 5 A. Backward compatible with Thunderbolt 3 hosts.
