Ultra-slim Bluetooth 3.0 keyboard

The ESTONE ultra-slim Bluetooth 3.0 keyboard is a 78-key input device designed for cable-free typing with iPads, iPhones and other Bluetooth-enabled tablets or laptops. It measures 285 x 120 x 6 mm and weighs 282 g, with a 13-key row of iPad hot keys for volume, music and brightness control. Two AAA batteries power up to 30 days of continuous use, and automatic sleep mode can extend changes to roughly half a year.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

It suits anyone who wants a lightweight, portable QWERTY keyboard for Apple tablets from the 9.7-inch 2017 iPad through iPad Pro 12.9", 10.5" and 9.7" models, plus iPad Air, iPad mini and iPhone 7/6S series. Buyers who need a built-in trackpad, backlit keys or a mechanical switch feel should look elsewhere.

Deciding specification: Bluetooth 3.0

The single specification that decides fit is the Bluetooth 3.0 interface; the host device must support that version for pairing and the stated 10 metre operating range. If your tablet or phone only offers a newer or older Bluetooth stack, compatibility cannot be guaranteed.
