Connects USB devices to VGA displays for multi-monitor setups at up to 1920x1080@60Hz via USB 3.0
This USB 3.0 to VGA adapter connects laptops, desktops or tablets with a USB port to monitors, projectors or TVs that have a VGA input. It enables a multi-monitor setup for extended or mirrored desktop configurations. The adapter is compact, lightweight and draws power directly from the USB port, so no external power supply is needed.
The adapter supports up to 1920x1080@60Hz when connected to a USB 3.0 port. When used with a USB 2.0 port, the maximum resolution drops to 800x600@60Hz. It is backward compatible with USB 2.0 hosts, but the lower bandwidth limits the achievable output resolution.
At USB 3.0 speeds the adapter comfortably drives a 1920x1080 display at 60 Hz for office applications, web browsing and video playback. At USB 2.0 speeds it is limited to 800x600, which restricts usable screen area and makes it unsuitable for high-detail content or modern full-HD workflows.

It means the external monitor can show full HD resolution at a smooth 60 frames per second, giving the same clarity and motion quality as a directly connected screen.
USB 3.0 allows the full 1920x1080@60Hz output, while USB 2.0 is limited to 800x600@60Hz because its bandwidth is much lower.
A free USB-A port on the host device and a VGA cable running to the monitor; the adapter draws power from the USB port so no extra power supply is required.
