Converts VGA and 3.5 mm audio to HDMI up to 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz with USB power for desktop, laptop and PC use
This compact adapter converts analog VGA signals to digital HDMI while embedding stereo audio from a 3.5 mm jack. A built-in switch selects 720p or 1080p output at 60 Hz. USB power widens compatibility with laptops, desktops, Raspberry Pi, Roku and game consoles. The 40 g dongle is plug-and-play with no driver installation required.
Suits users connecting older PCs, media boxes or retro consoles to modern monitors, projectors or TVs that only accept HDMI. Integrated audio saves a separate cable run. Not suited for buyers who need 4K or 1440p output, HDR pass-through, HDCP 2.2 handshake or a second independent display output. The single HDMI port cannot drive multiple screens.
The converter accepts VGA resolutions from 640x480 up to 1920x1080 at 60 Hz and outputs the same ceiling. Bandwidth is rated at 6.75 Gbps total with 12-bit per channel colour depth. If your source exceeds 1080p or requires higher refresh rates, this adapter will not pass the signal.

Use the switch on the converter to select 1080p for full HD screens or 720p for older HDTVs; both modes accept VGA inputs from 640x480 up to 1920x1080 at 60Hz.
It provides enough bandwidth for 1920x1080 at 60Hz with 12-bit per channel deep colour and uncompressed two-channel LPCM audio over a single HDMI cable.
The USB power cable supplies the converter so it works with low-power VGA sources like a Raspberry Pi or Xbox that might not drive an unpowered adapter reliably.
