Spoolless PLA+ refill for FDM printers

This 1 kg spoolless coil of eSUN PLA+ filament in silver is made for makers who run FDM printers and want a stronger, tougher material than standard PLA. The plant-based formulation prints with low shrinkage and minimal warping, so functional parts and prototypes hold their shape straight off the bed. It ships vacuum-sealed with desiccant to keep the filament dry until you load it.

Needs a separate spool holder to feed smoothly

Because the refill arrives without a reel, you must pair it with a compatible holder such as the upcoming eSUN unit or a Bambu Lab spool holder before the filament can unwind cleanly. The tight ±0.03 mm diameter tolerance and precise winding prevent overlaps and tangles that would otherwise jam the extruder. Once mounted, the coil feeds consistently into most common FDM machines including popular Creality, Prusa and Bambu Lab models.

Consistent extrusion at high print speeds

The material is engineered to maintain stable flow through the nozzle at speeds up to 100 mm/s with the fan at 100 %, reducing the risk of clogging during long, fast prints. Recommended nozzle temperatures sit between 210 °C and 230 °C, with a bed set to 45–60 °C for reliable first-layer adhesion. This thermal window and the filament’s low-warping behaviour help sustain dimensional accuracy over extended build times.
