Compact glue gun kit

The Eurotech ROMECH-179 is a 20W corded electric hot glue gun supplied with 30 glue sticks of .28 inch diameter. It is aimed at hobbyists and light repair tasks that need a ready-to-use kit. The green plastic body includes a metal safety stand and a trigger feed for controlled dispensing. Preheating takes roughly 2 to 3 minutes before the tool is ready.

30-stick supply and 20W output

The included 30 sticks give enough material for multiple craft sessions, school projects or household fixes without an immediate reorder. The 20W heater maintains a steady melt rate for paper, fabric, plastic, glass and wood, but heavy continuous use on dense materials will outpace the element and cause temperature drop. The trigger mechanism helps limit waste by stopping flow when released.

Corded 4.2ft reach and CE safety

A 4.2ft (1.3m) power cord ties the gun to a mains outlet, so workspaces without a nearby socket will need an extension lead. The CE-certified unit has a built-in security fuse that cuts power on a short circuit or overheat event. There is no battery option, temperature dial or cordless freedom; users needing higher wattage or untethered movement should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 7 mm glue sticks from my existing supply fit the ROMECH-179?

Yes, the gun accepts standard 7 mm sticks, which are the same 0.28" diameter supplied in the 30-stick bundle.

How can I confirm the 20 W heater is up to temperature after the 2-3 minute preheat?

The trigger feeds glue smoothly without resistance and the nozzle extrudes a steady bead with no dripping when the unit is ready.

Does the package include a stand or only the gun and the 30 sticks?

The kit contains the glue gun, 30 glue sticks and a metal safety stand; the 1.3 m power cord is permanently attached to the gun.
