The module delivers 40 Gigabit LAN and 10 GigE uplink interfaces directly from the supervisor, removing the need for separate line cards for aggregation. Sixteen gigabytes of DRAM support the control plane, enabling In-Service Software Upgrade and stateful switchover for continuous operation during maintenance.

Handles 384 access ports and high-density PoE
