Lets two computers share dual monitors, keyboard and mouse at up to 3840×2160@60Hz with button or hotkey switching
This Explus-C HDMI KVM switch lets two computers share two monitors and a single keyboard and mouse set. It supports extended and copy display modes so you can spread work across both screens or mirror them. Front-panel buttons and keyboard hotkeys both change the active system instantly. The unit is new and ready for desk deployment.
Video passes through at up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz with HDCP 2.2 and an 18 Gbps data rate. Lower resolutions such as 1080p and 3D formats are also supported. Both source PCs, both monitors and the cables used must meet the HDMI 2.0 specification to reach the top resolution. If any link in the chain is limited to an earlier standard the switch will fall back automatically.
The switch maintains a stable 18 Gbps link during long sessions so extended-mode desktops stay sharp at 60 Hz. Hotkey sequences such as Scroll Lock twice followed by 1 or 2, or Ctrl twice followed by 1 or 2, change sources without dropping the video signal. Four USB 2.0 ports keep shared peripherals connected while the active computer changes, avoiding re-enumeration delays during continuous use.

It means each connected monitor can display 3840 x 2160 pixels at 60 frames per second, provided both the source computers and the HDMI cables also support that resolution and refresh rate.
The HDMI 2.0 link caps the video bandwidth at 18 Gbps, so 4K@60Hz is the maximum; higher refresh rates or deeper colour formats at 4K are not supported, and HDCP 2.2 is required for protected 4K content playback.
The unit requires two HDMI cables from each computer (four total), two HDMI cables to the monitors, a keyboard and mouse plugged into the dedicated K/M USB ports, and up to two extra USB 2.0 peripherals in the remaining ports.
