Bidirectional USB-C KVM Switch

This bidirectional USB-C KVM switch lets you share one display between two USB-C video sources or route one source to two displays. It supports laptops, tablets, phones and game consoles with full-function USB-C ports. Only one display is active at a time.

Build integration and cabling

The unit includes USB-C cables and uses a single button to toggle between connected devices. LED indicators show the active port. It passes up to 100 W of power so a connected laptop can charge while in use, provided the display and cable also support reverse charging.

Resolution headroom and bandwidth limits

Video output reaches 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz and 1080p at 165 Hz over the USB 3.1 Gen 2 link rated at 10 Gbps. The switch cannot drive two monitors simultaneously and will not exceed the stated refresh rates or the 100 W charging ceiling.

Questions about this item

Will the 10 Gbps USB 3.1 Gen2 link saturate before the 100 W charging limit during sustained transfers?

The switch passes up to 10 Gbps data and 100 W power simultaneously; neither spec is reduced by the other.

Does the unit need active cooling or make audible noise when passing 100 W and 10 Gbps all day?

It has no fan and runs silently; heat stays within normal operating limits for passive USB-C switches.

Must both computers and the monitor already support full-function USB-C with DisplayPort Alt Mode and USB Power Delivery?

Yes — every connected host, cable and display needs full-function USB-C, DP Alt Mode and PD to reach 8K 60 Hz and 100 W charging.
