16-Channel EX-SDI DVR with 4 TB

This 16-channel video recorder accepts EX-SDI, HD-SDI, HD-TVI, CVI and 960H analogue cameras plus up to four IP channels. It records at 1080p resolution using H.265 compression and includes a pre-installed 4 TB hard drive. The unit suits installers who need a single hybrid recorder for mixed camera technologies.

Installation and common issues

Two internal SATA bays accept drives up to 6 TB each for a total of 12 TB. Cameras are detected automatically across the supported analogue formats, reducing configuration time. The recorder provides VGA, HDMI and composite spot-monitor outputs plus an RS-485 port for PTZ control. Ensure the power supply and cabling match the camera voltage requirements to avoid signal loss.

Pre-order checklist

Verify that existing cameras use one of the listed analogue formats or are ONVIF-compliant IP models within the four-channel limit. Confirm the recorder’s network port settings match the local router and that the DDNS or static IP plan covers remote access. Check that the two SATA bays provide enough capacity for the desired retention period before adding drives.
