16-Channel 5MP DVR for Mixed Analog Cameras

The Eyemax Prestige TVST PVT records up to sixteen channels at 5MP resolution and accepts TVI, AHD, CVI and 960H signals on the same unit. H.265 compression reduces stored footage size while a 2TB drive ships installed. The Magic Viewer app enables remote viewing on mobile devices. It suits installers who need a single recorder for mixed legacy and HD analog cameras.

Fanless Operation with Low Power Draw

The recorder runs without internal fans, so it adds no audible noise to a quiet office or retail back-room. H.265 encoding keeps processor load modest, limiting heat output and continuous power consumption. Dual CODEC engines handle live view and recording streams independently, preventing thermal spikes during simultaneous playback and network transmission.

Rack or Shelf Mount with HDMI and VGA Outputs

One HDMI and one VGA port drive a main monitor while a programmable composite SPOT output feeds a secondary display or modulator. RS-485 provides PTZ control and a relay alarm output connects to external sirens or lights. Dual network ports with independent settings isolate camera traffic from client access. POS interface and configuration import/export simplify multi-site rollouts.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the 16 cameras and what is the common mistake?

Connect each camera to a BNC input; the recorder accepts TVI, AHD, CVI and 960H signals mixed on the same unit. The common mistake is exceeding the 16-channel limit or leaving a channel unconfigured in the GUI.

What ongoing upkeep does the 2 TB recorder need?

The H265 codec reduces storage use; the weekly scheduler with holiday setting and auto-deletion manage retention automatically. No periodic maintenance is described beyond checking that recordings are saved.

What limit appears first during continuous recording?

The 2 TB internal capacity fills first; when full the system overwrites the oldest footage. The H265 engine and per-channel resolution and frame-rate settings control how quickly that happens.
