Deskside Cross-Cut Shredder

The Fellowes Powershred 60Cs is a new cross-cut shredder designed for personal deskside use. It shreds up to 10 sheets of paper per pass into 302 particles measuring 5/32 by 2 inches at Security Level P-4. The unit also destroys CDs, DVDs, credit cards, staples, paper clips and junk mail. A 6-gallon lift-off head collects the waste.

Home And Small Office Users

This shredder suits individuals who need reliable medium-duty document destruction at a desk. SafeSense Technology stops the cutting mechanism automatically when hands touch the paper entry, adding a layer of safety for shared spaces. Buyers who need continuous operation beyond a 6-minute run time before a cool-down period should consider a heavier-duty model.

SafeSense Safety Sensor

The patented SafeSense sensor surrounds the paper opening and disables the shredder instantly upon contact, preventing accidental activation during use. The lift-off head design allows the 6-gallon bin to be removed separately from the cutting mechanism for easier emptying. Dimensions are 16.06 inches high, 9.19 inches wide and 14.63 inches deep.
