This adapter lets you install a full-size mini PCI-E WWAN module into an M.2 Key B slot on a desktop or laptop motherboard. It accepts modules that communicate over USB, covering 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, 5G, GPS, WiMAX, WLAN and HSPA modems. No extra power cable is needed.

NANO SIM push connector

A built-in NANO SIM card slot with push-push ejection is included on the board. This removes the need for a separate SIM carrier or soldering, so the cellular module can be swapped or provisioned quickly. The adapter simply passes the SIM signals through to the mini PCI-E card.

Passive PCB with standard mounting

The unit is a bare printed-circuit board that draws power from the M.2 slot itself, adding no active components or heat. It uses the standard M.2 screw hole for retention and presents a full-size mini PCI-E edge connector on the other side. Builders who need half-size mini PCI-E cards or PCIe-signalling M.2 modules cannot use this adapter.
