Adds an M.2 M-Key NVMe SSD to a desktop PCIe slot, supports 2242, 2260 and 2280 sizes, and includes a cooling fan with an LED on/off switch
This adapter lets you install an M.2 M-Key NVME SSD into any desktop PCIe x1, x4, x8 or x16 slot. It supports 2242, 2260 and 2280 drive lengths. The link operates at PCIe x1 speed regardless of the physical slot width. It is designed for builders adding fast storage to older platforms or secondary slots.
The electrical connection is limited to a single lane, so maximum throughput is capped at the PCIe x1 ceiling. Sequential reads and writes will not reach the rated speeds of high-end NVME drives. Random I/O performance remains usable for boot drives and general storage. It is not suited for workloads that demand full x4 bandwidth.
An integrated fan draws heat away from the SSD during sustained transfers, helping maintain consistent performance. A dedicated switch toggles the LED illumination on or off, useful for dark rooms or windowed cases. The board mounts directly into a rear expansion bracket. It does not support M.2 SATA B-Key drives.

The adapter accepts all three lengths — 2242, 2260 and 2280 — so choose the one that matches the physical size of your NVMe SSD.
The adapter runs at PCIe x1 speed, so the SSD will be limited to one lane of bandwidth rather than its full x4 potential.
It only passes NVMe signals; M.2 SATA B-Key SSDs are not supported.
