SFF8654 4i to Dual SFF8482 Breakout

This Fervit cable converts a single PCIe Slimline SAS 4.0 38-pin SFF8654 4i port into two SFF8482 drive connections for multi-storage configurations. It supports NVMe, SAS and SATA HDDs or SSDs with a 24Gbps high-speed rating over a 1 metre length. The 30AWG low-loss copper harness includes integrated SATA power lines to supply drives directly. Anti-interference shielding ensures reliable enterprise-grade signal integrity.

Build Integration and Cable Management

The 2in1 breakout design reduces the number of host ports and cables required when connecting multiple drives to a server backplane or NAS enclosure. Integrated SATA power eliminates separate power cable runs to each drive, freeing internal space and simplifying harness routing. The one metre length provides flexible reach across chassis compartments without excessive slack. PCIe 4.0 compliance allows use with current generation host controllers and backplanes.
